When I’m not helping millennials like my mom conquer Instagram, you can probably find me sipping Starbucks while overthinking my next Instagram trend analysis.
It All Started with My Mom (and a Lot of Chaos)
Picture this: my mom, a millennial (yes, the millennial), absolutely losing her mind over recording content. She hated it. The lighting was off, the captions were hard, and don’t even get her started on figuring out trends. So, naturally, I jumped in to help because…family, right?
What started as me chaotically holding a ring light giving her “constructive criticism” turned into some of the funniest, most chaotic moments of my life. But then something clicked: as I helped my mom grow her page (without her throwing her phone out the window), other millennials started asking for help too.
And my mom? She hit me with the ultimate mom-ism: “Nyla, people like me need you. WE HATE CONTENT.”
Cue the lightbulb moment! I realized I could help stressed-out millennials everywhere simplify their social media and actually enjoy the process (or at least not hate it).
